MAY RIDE FOR H. P. WHITNEY BALTIMORE, Md.. May 12.— Jockey A. Robertson is going to New York to confer with James Howe, Sr., regarding an engagement with the Harry P. Whitney Stable. Howe was pleased with the manner in which Robertson handled Honker in his last race yesterday and, if terms can be agreed upon, will sign the lad for the remainder of the season. Robertson can do 100 pounds and has ridden 156 winners. His apprentice allowance expires June 1.
