REIGH COUNT AND VICTORIAN NEW YORK, N. Y., May 23.— Interest in the meeting of Mrs. John Hertz Reigh Count, the Derby winner, and H. P. Whitneys Victorian, winner of both the Preakness and the Withers Stakes, grows each day. The pair will come together in the one mile and a half Belmont Stakes, to be decided at Belmont Park June 9, and already there has been considerable wagering on the result. Two wagers of ,000 each were made with Coley Madden yesterday, Madden taking the Victorian end at even money. These wagers have come from the same sportsmen who were so successful backing Anita Peabody to win the Futurity last September, but is said that the wager was not made by Mr. Hertz.
