VALUE OF THE SKULL CAP TORONTO, Ont., May 23.— The officials at Woodbine Park have advised all riders and • i rcise lads to wear skull caps while working horses during the morning. Had the apprentice Coleman, who fell from Pole Star Monday, not had a skull cap as part of his equipment he would probably have been killed. When picked up it was discovered that the skull cap had a long slit where a horses foot had struck the lad while on the ground.
