PULITZER S ENGLISH VICTORY SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. YORK, England, May 23. — An American victory was registered in the Great Northern Handicap Plate here today. Herbert Pulitzers four-year-old colt Oriental Knight was the winner, with Mrs. L. Schaveriens Heir Apparent second, and Mrs. George D. Gardners Still Life third. There were thirteen starters. Oriental Knight, which was held at 11 to 4, won by two lengths, while Heir Apparent, 25 to 1, beat Still Life. 6 to 1, by four lengths. The winner is by Prince Galahad—Star in the East, and was in the handicap under the feather of ninety-nine pounds. il ir Apparent carried 107 pounds, and Still Life 110 pounds. . , » 1
