FAST AUSTRALIAN TRACK SYDNEY, N. S. W., Australia.— Trentham Wellington is a wonderfully fast track, the Australiasian records made on it being as follows : One half mile — :45. Gloaming 9.1, January, 1921. Three-quarters mile — 1 :09*£. The Hawk 9.2, January, 1922. One and three-eighths miles — 2 :17, Star Stranger 9.5, January, 1927. One and three-quarters miles — 2:57 1-2. Commendation 8.7, March, 1927. Two miles— Star Stranger, 3 :22 1-4 9.4. March, 1928. There is an electric clock at Trentham, and when Star Stranger made his recent record several private watches made the time 3 :22. The Hawk shares the Australian three-quarters record with Chimera, which made her time at Riccarton Christchurch. , A
