AURORA TURF NOTES "1 $ — $ AURORA, 111.. May 24. Another new rider made his debut at Exposition Park today, when G. Balow had his first mount of his career in the first race, riding Monarchist. He is a local boy and is under contract to the Dearborn Stable of Louis Weiss. The apprenticeship of jockey C. Landolt, whose contract, is held by W. R. ladgett, has expired and he will no longer be favored with the five pounds apprentice allowance. Jockey M. Meyer resumed riding again this afternoon, having escaped with bruises when thrown from Forward Pass in a race yesterday. Starter Harry Morrissey has quite recovered from an attack of the grippe, but was feeling somewhat weak today after his brief illness and complied with the advice of his physician to remain indoors another day, tearing the duties of dispatching the lilds at Exposition Park to his assistant, Bddie Thomas. Jockeys R. Crces and R. Mozer drew their wages here today with intentions of departing for Fairmount Park. They were expected to leave tonight. A
