H. A. COTTONS CONSIGNMENT Three Carloads of Horses From Far West Arrive at Arlington Park. Thoroughbreds for the twenty-four days meeting opening Monday, June 4, at Arlington Park and ending Saturday, June 30, are beginning to arrive daily from different parts of the country. Three carloads came today from the far West. In this consignment were the horses of H. H. Cotton, Los Angeles turfman and financier, also the performers belonging to J. N. McFadden, a breeder at Corvallis, Ore. It is McFaddens first trip to the Middle West. Mr. Cottons La Brae Stable includes Serenader, Polita, Vittoria, Mi Comr -.nero, Lucie, Sandy Man, Sunspero, Listo, American Son, Moonraker and Sweeping Away. D. F. Cannon, trainer, said the horses had shipped satisfacorily. Mi Companero is an eligible in the American Derby, to be decided Saturday, June 9. Cannons good opinion of this gelded son of Playfellow — Teresa indicates that he will be a starter in the renewal of this race. Sandy Man is reported back in his old time form. He is a probable starter the first day in the American National Premier Handicap, ,000 added, for three-year-olds and upward. The distance is at a mile. Other eligibles to this event, owned by Cotton, are Moonraker and American Son. Moonraker, eight-year-old son of Broomstick, is looking fine. Gasador, Lucia and Vittoria are eligibles for the American National Juvenile Stakes, distance five and one-half furlongs, 0,000 added. In the American National Rush Handicap, at three-quarters, ,500 added, for three-year-olds and upward, Sandy Man, Polita and Moonraker have been entered. * .
