"LEO ran a good raea and was in closest pursuit for the entire distance. MOTHER Of PEARL showed the most cr.rly Kneed, 1 i:t b"gan tiring fast in the last sixteenth. THISTLE CLAD tired in the last eighth. McKIM was done when reaching the stretch. YILEK v.as alwaya outrun. PATON threw his rider while on the way to the post and ran a half mile at top speed before being caught, then raced prominently until reaching tie stretch.
