FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES t » — - j COLLINSVILLE, 111., May 31. Horsemen have been notified that after June 7 no horses entered in races at three-quarters will be allowed to start that have not been schooled in the Waite starting machine. Word was received from R. rollard that his stable would arrive here Saturday from Aurora. Tommy Johnson was appointed agent for the stable of E. E. Watson and will handle apprentice R. Richardsons riding engagements. Starter William Snyder was notified today by William Dondas, who will officiate at Raceland as racing secretary, that Lester Dean, starter at Arlington Park at the coming meeting, would serve as starter during the first four days of the Raceland meeting, which conflicts with Fairmount Park, and requires Mr. Snyders presence here. Because of Wednesdays incident, when half of the field raced to a false start, a recall flag has been instituted at Fairmount Park. Yesterdays false start was the result of Touchstone kicking the lock of the barrier and releasing the gate.
