LEXINGTON NOTES $ . $ LEXINGTON, Ky., May 31. J. O. Keene left here this morning for New York to spend ten days at Belmont Park, where he has shipped his two-year-old Jean Yaljean, by# Stefan the Great — Jeanne Bowdre, to start in the National Stallion Stakes on June 9. The colt was shipped to Belmont Park in charge of trainer William Rust, who wired that he was taken off the car yesterday with a slight temperature. Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Hart arrived in Lexington today after a months sojourn at Hot Springs, Ark. They will inspect their stallions, Chilhowee and Prince Pal, and their band of thirty-two mares which are in stud here, and their training stable, which is now turned out until autumn. * They will leave Sunday for New York and expect to take a trip abroad for the summer.
