I CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES | $ . _3 LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 31. Charles F. Price, presiding steward, this afternoon announced that in view of the fact that the agreement whereby jockey Willie Garner is to ride Misstep in the Fair-mount Derby was in the stewards hands previous to that riders suspension yesterday, he will be permitted to fill the engagement. Garner was set down for ten days for rough riding in the final race Wednesday. Jack McPherson is shipping his entire stable to Latonia Friday. Two cars will be required to transport the establishment. J. Edwards, an apprentice in the employ of J. J. Flanagan, expects to havo his first mount on Lady Loose Friday. Jockeys P. Hebert and D. Froggatte leave tonight for other racing points. W. H. Whitehouses Colonel Shaw will not be a starter in the Fairmount Derby, according to announcement made here this morning by Lon Johnson, trainer of the colt. E. B. McLeans Toro and S. Peabodys Martie Flynn were ready for shipment to Fairtnount Park tonight. They will start in Saturdays renewal of the Fairmount Derby. Jockeys Ambrose and Fronk. who will have the mounts, leave Friday night. The H. P. Whitney-M. Goldblatt horses will be shipped to Latonia tomorrow. ♦ —
