« — [thorncliffe track notes i • ■ — — g TORONTO, Ont, May 31. The two-year-old Peter Snow, in the stable of W. J. Salmon, picked up a nail while being breezed at Woodbine this morning. This accounted for his being withdrawn from the third race. The C. V. B. Cushman Stable is the latest to announce its intention of shipping to Ottawa. Judging from the class of horses that will participate, the meeting at Con-naugh Park promises to be the best in the history of the club. Among the horses that the Seagram Stable is sending there is the good racer Edisto. Jockey N. Foden had his first mount on a Canadian Racing Association track when he rode Mr. Gaiety in the Caledonia Handicap this afternoon. Jockey L. Schaefer returned from Belmont Park, where he was called to ride Dunkirk for the W. J. Salmon Stable. -
