GOOD SPORT AT HAMILTON HAMILTON, Ohio, May 31— K. H. Cleve-lanels Gareth, racing in his best form, took some good sprinters into camp in the fourth race at the Fair Grounds this afternoon. Incidentally, he ran the fastest five-eighths of the meeting, in £9%. Gareth followed the fast early pace of Pelion, then drew away in the stretch to a handy victory. Racing on the outside of her opponents all the way, Beatrice Mor.se eventually displaced Pelion for the second honor». Most favorable conditions prevailed and the racing was productive of many keen stretch struggles. The form players experienced considerable difficulty in locating the winners, the favorites falling by the wayside quite frequently. With the running of the third event came the closest finish of the day. BrockU-sby s wed the way to the stretch, where Mar-jorie Daw closed with good courage, and the pair reached the end racing like a team. Marjorle Daw was awarded the decision by the smallest of margins. Op Start was a vic-ti mof bad racing luck, but was a bang-up 1 third.
