MANCHESTER, England, May 31.— Ellan-vale, the two-year-old brown filly by Ellan-gowan — Valini, owned by Sir George Bul-lough, won the Whitsuntide Foal Stakes here Wednesday. E. C. Elliott had the mount and the young filly scored easily by five lengths, j leading home fourteen others.
