The latter raced into a clear lead, but his rider became overconfident in the final sixteenth. AQUASTELLA finished fast under hard riding and outgamed VANISH in the final strides. SKEDADDLE followed the early leaders under restraint to the last half, then moved up when nearing the sixteenth jump and, passing the leaders, was going away at the end. RADEL. under restraint until called on. took the lead, but tired near the end. BANGLE jumped well and ran a good race, but tired in the final quarter. PRINCESS TINA ran a good raee. P.VRI was in cose quarters and pocketed next to the rail in the final sixteenth and could not get through. STRETCHER ran well. JCMBO was eased up when she tired. ROYAL STRANGER at once drew away into a safe lead and set a fast pace, but swerved out after entering the stretch, then raced resolutely and outfinished DANGEROUS. The latter was outrun to the stretch turn, saved much ground, then when turning for home, finished fast and gamely. ENDLESS moved up rapidly on the outside and lost much ground on the last turn, but finished fast. DANTHONIA was close uj» all the way and ran a good race. DEAR LADY had no mishaps. AGAPANTHUS and SHAKITUP were much used in racing with the early leid rs and quit badly. PROMPTER began in a tangle.
