WINS CORONATION CUP SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. EPSOM, England. June 7. — There were only four starters in the Coronation Cup, run over the Derby course of one and one-half miles here today. The winner was the Italican-bred son of Sardanapale — Angelina. Apelle. owned by R. McCreery. Mrs. C. Richs Silverstead was second, while Lord Asters great filly of last year, Book Law, defeated Sir Abe Baileys Guards Parade for third. II. Beasley rode the winner and he piloted him to a short head victory. Silverstead. ridden by M. Beary, beat the filly under H. J. Ellis, two lengths for second place. G. Richards rode Guards Farade. The winner paid 110 to 15 and Silverstead 100 to 8. Book Law was odds-on favorite at 2 to 5. Guards Parade was 100 to 14. LONDON. England, .June 7.— Apelle, which won the Coronation Cup at Epsom today, has been allotted top weight in the Royal Hunt Cup, which will be run on June 20. at Ascot. The impost on the son of Sardanapale is 1*2 pounds. Abotts Speed is in with 128 pounds, while Fohanaun is handicapped at 127 pounds. 4
