F. J. BRUEN MIAMI MANAGER NEW YORK, N. Y., June 11.— Joseph M. Smoot, president of the Miami Jockey Club, was a visitor Saturday. He announced that Frank J. Bruen had been appointed manager of the racing at the Ilialtah course, to take the place of the late Luke A. Cassidy, who built the magnificent course and managed it so efficiently for the three years of Miami sport. Mr. Smoot is confident of a return to racing in Miami.
