AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES # $ NEW YORK, N. T., June 11. J. Simon Healy, who has been confined to his home for the past ten days with an attack of influenza, made his first appearance Saturday. Tom Thorpe and Abe Hallow solicited subscriptions for the relief of former jockey Willie Dugan, who is ill with tuberculosis. V. Powers will ship a division of the Greentree Stable to Blue Bonnets. Alex Woodliffe claimed Scimitar from the Penthcrn Stable out of the first race Saturday for ,000. Joseph McLennan has been meeting with great success in his canvass for some cf the best horses for the Blue Bonnets meeting, which opens Saturday. Among the promised trainers who will send horses there are A. J. Joyner, T. J. Healey. and Thomas Murphy of the Greentree Stable. A. J. Joyner reports that sickness broke out in his barn and that he was forced to cancel his proposed shipments to Blue Bonrir ts. Jockey K. Kummer and trainer Louis Fcustel parted company on mutual terms and Kummer will ride freelance. Trainer James Howe, Jr., state,! that Victorian did not take a long breath after the Belmont Stakes and that he sulked in the running. He will be kept in training. Albert John, who recently returned from Europe, will resume riding shortly as a freelance. George M. Fischer, well known German breeder, was an arrival and will remain for a few weeks. The German yearlings which were sold at Saratoga for the past two years will be disposed of in Germany.
