RUNDARK raced close up on the inside to the stretch, then came on the outside of WILD BILL and DOCTOR GLENN and, gradually wearing them down, got up to win in the last strides. DOCTOR GLENN gamely set a good pace to the last few yards, but tired then and barely outfinished THE COCOON. The latter was shuffled back after the start and outpaced to the stretch, then closed a gap on the outside and finished fastest of all. SALUTATION raced forwardly and only tired in the final fifty yards. WILD BILL forced the pace to the stretch and ran a good race. COLONKI. WINN quit.
