BUNTIiORNE moved past the leaders quickly when nearing the far turn, then drew away from BOND SLAVE and HEC into a good lead, but tired in the final d:ive and was hard ridden to outlast BMC. The latter ra. ed forwatdly on the outside all the way and. after heading BOND SLA E when an eighth out, finished strongly and was wearing the winner down at the end. BOND SLAVE kept pace with the leaders all the way and also came again at the end.
