It was his first time under saddle since his victory in the Kentucky Derby. The colt, with Chick Lang up. was brought out early in the morning and was accompanied by Anita Peabody, also owned by Mrs. J. D. Hertz. The pair were cantered around the outside track a couple of times, and were observed by only a handful of early morning railbirds. Reigh Count appeared to fine advantage and displayed not the least trace of Hhe leg injuries he sustained prior to and at the start of the Kentucky Derby. He seemed to be in perfect physical condition and in every respect looks the part of a champion. Anita Peabody, the largest money winning horse of last year, looked just as good as her illustrious stablemate. The filly jogged along with a faultless stride and apparently is ready and anxious to display that great speed for which she is noted. Anita Peabody, which has been kept in light training ever since her arrival at Arlington Park, is in a more advanced condition than Peigh Count. According to plans of her trainer, she will be a starter in the American National Push Handicap Saturday, June 23, in which race she will meet the best sprinters in local training. Peigh Count will be given a slow course of fraining at Arlington Park for his stake engagements at the Saratoga August meeting.
