V RECORD PRICED YEARLINGS The Australian record priced yearling — the chestnut colt, by Saltash — Weltea, by The Welkin — purchased for 3,750 by Messrs. R. E. H. Hope, J. Fell, F. Robinson and E. M. Pearce, has been successfully broken in at taulfield. The colt, which is in charge of C T. Godby, is very tractable and is looking well. He is greatly admired when he exercises on the tracks. Avant Courier, which previously held the record as the highest priced yearling, is also trained at Caulfield.
