» jt FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES ! ♦ + COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 13. The third issue of the program books and stakes nominations was distributed among the horsemen here this morning. The new issue covers the racing days extending from Friday, June 15, to Thursday, June 21. The wife and daughter of Johnny LoftifS, trainer of the Oak Ridge Stable, are visitors of the week at Fairmount Park. Mrs. Loftus and her daughter are visiting with Mrs. Loftus parents. Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Galliger, at Collinsville, 111. Phil Reuter announced today that he would ship his Gorman-bred colt Galahad to La-tonia for the Derby. With Galahad Reuter will send Capt. George Foster and Roy Gibson. The services of jockey V. Peterson have been secured from Arthur Middleton to ride Galahad in the Latonia Derby. One hundred or more disabled veterans from the United States Veterans Hospital at Jefferson Barracks will be entertained as the guests of general manager Head at Fair-mount Fark Thursday afternoon. The fifth race of an excellent card will be known as the United States Veterans Purse and to the winning jockey the veterans will present a silver trophy.
