ARLINGTON PARK NOTES t i- — * ARLINGTON HEIGHTS. 111., June 13. As his license was not sanctioned by the stewards, jockey J. Moore was relieved of his mount on Pearlies Girlie in the first race and R. Jones substituted. The stewards granted J. H. Patterson a license to act as agent for P. T. Chinn. President Kelly, which suffered a leg injury in his winning race last week, will be out of training for another ten days, his owner, I. Weil, declared. Weil had hopes of starting the colt in the American National Juvenile Stakes. Records in the racing secretarys office show 148 stables having 942 horses registered. H. G. Bedwell reports Banton and Kanduit, injured last week, in improved condition and ready for racing again within a few days. T. M. Doyle returned today from Latonia, where he took Hot Time to contest in the Quickstep Handicap, also Samaron and John H. Connors. He announced the sale of the latter horse to C. C. Van Meter. Hot Time and Samaron will reach here tomorrow morning. Friday will again be Ladies Day at Arlington Park and it is the desire of the management that women refrain from bringing minor children to thj course. J. J. Coughlins two-year-old Roguish Eye gave a fine speed display when he worked five-eighths this morning in 1:00. The stewards suspended jockey D. Cham-berlin, rider of Color Blind, the beaten favorite in the fourth race, for five days for striking W. Fronk with his whp during the runnng of the race. M. B. Cohn, represented in the fourth race by John J. S., claimed Color Blind at a cost of ,500. Mary O. was claimed in the same race by J. McGee for ,000.
