The latter saved much ground by being on the inside and came fast in the last eighth. MEWI-WICK was on the outside and showed speed to the stretch, then was done. DOCTOR GLENN tired. BI.ESS HER HEART raced into the lead quickly and. withstanding challenges from PHOTOGRAPH and MAKDOON, kept her lead gamely and outfinished TOM CAGWIN. The latter could not get through to the leaders until in the stretch, then came on the inside with a final rush. MARDOON showed much speed and foiced the pace, finishing gamely. PHOTOGRAPH raced close up throughout, but was forced w.de on the turns. JACK HAWKSLEY closed up grouud. ARISTOS and HARPOON tired. BOTCH moved up when entering the stretch, but made an extremely wide turn there. RAMBLE and REALTY tired badly. The latter set the early pace briefly and dropped back on Hie far turn, but came agata on the inside and outgamed BLACK AGATE. The latter took the lead while rounding the far turn and set a good pace, but was tiring fast in the last eighth. RIVAL was forced to race on the outside, but raced fairly well. The latter made up much ground in the last eighth. MAZETTA, ALTERA and BUT SIS alternately showed the most early fcpecd. but quit in the stretch.
