* _ LAT0NIA TURF NOTES . $ LATONIA, Ky., June 27. Colonel Shaw and three other horses, owned by W. H. Whitehouse, will be campaigned at Raceland, while trainer Lon Johnson takes the remainder of the stable to Lincoln Fields. Colonel Shaw will be pointed for the Race-land Derby renewal. Next week trainer "Tiny" Scofield will transfer fifteen of the J. J. Coughlin horses from here to Raceland. Jockey Jake Heupel, contract rider for that Chicago owner, will depart at the same time and remain with that section of the stable throughout the Raceland meeting. The Kay Cee Stable today purchased the filly Queen of Sheba from Mrs. J. Diebold. The latter has turned the horses Nabisco, Red Grange and Dorothy Diebold over to W. H. Harry to train, and will take them to Louisville where they will be given an extended rest. J. R. Schuster disposed of the plater William P. to Mrs. D. Martin and he will race in the interests of his new owner tomorrow. Schuster will continue to train the gelding. The horses Uncle Al and a two-year-old, the property of W. E. Caskey, Jr., have been shipped to the Caskey farm, near Lexington, to be turned out. The stewards authorized Tom San ford as agent for OConnell and Bateman, and R. C. Frakes to serve in a like capacity for Gor-ham Bros. John McKeon has arranged to ship his three horses to Raceland on Saturday. J. C. Eaton, represented by Lady Goaler, claimed Exile, winner of the opening race, from W. E. Caskey, Jr., at a cost of ,700. According to advices received here today, Walter M. Jeffords good Man o War filly Bateau will be shipped here from New York to fill her engagement in the Latonia Oaks on the closing day of the meeting. Bateaus addition to the Oaks field gives it an inter-seciional aspect.
