RACCOON swerved over sharply, but clear of the others, from the outside, responded to hard riding and gamely outfinished BLACK MAJESTY. The latter forced the pace all the way and ran a good race. KIAN". raced prominently throughout. ASTHORELIAN finished resolutely after overcoming interference. DISCOLORED raced forwardly and had no mishaps. ON THE AIR raced green. BEAUPARC raced close up under restraint and. jumping well, raced into an easy lead and won under leatiaint. FAIRFIELD, unruly in the early running, was taken under restraint and moved up with a rash after taking the eleventh jump, but could not get to the winner. DARKNESS responded gamely when called on, but was tiring at the finish. CORONEL raced fairly well. TARAS HALL was impeded when his rider lost a stirrup iron after taking the tenth jump. MOKATAM was cut off in the early running, but forced his way and stood a long drive to outfinish the leaders gamely. CRACK RRIOABE was close up all the way and, racing gamely, headed CARUSO and finished well. CARUSO swerved over from the outside and set a good pace nearly all the way and had no mishaps.
