$ $ « * 1 c ■ 1 j f j , , # Rose of Sharon and Current Coming Here for the Illinois Oaks + LATONIA, Ky., June 10.— J. N. Camdens Rose of Sharon this morning figured in one of the outstanding trials of the training period when she traversed three-quarters in :13%, very handily. The daughter of Light Brigade — Rosa Mundi has retained the fine form which permitted her to account for the recent renewal of the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs and trainer D. E. Stewart is pointing her for the 0,000 added Illinois Oaks, which comes up at Washington Park on June 22. Her trial this morning was over a good track and she stepped the quarter in :24% and half-mile in :4S%. Current, R. H. Clarks good three-year-old filly, is another going from here to contest the Illinois Oaks. She will make the trip in the same car with Rose of Sharon, the two getting away next week. They will be returned for the Latonia Oaks, to be run on July 6, the closing day of the meeting.
