Won easily; second and third driving. VALDOSTA began slowly but, under a good ride, quickly worked his way up to the leaders on the outside, overtook MONEY ORDER in the stretch and held MY LAVA safe at the end. MY LAVA raced on the inside, saved much ground and, finishing gamely, outstayed MID MINT. The latter showed speed from the start, forced the pace and held on gamely. MONEY ORDER showed much speed and set the pace for the first half mile, but tired in the final drive. THISTLE JOHN never threatened the leader*. MURMURING PINES acted green, swerved when the start came and was hopelessly left. GOODMAN began fast and. racing close to the leaders for the first three-eighths, came to the outside, gradually taking the lead entering the stretch and holding on to outstay RED ROBE. The latter worked his way up gradually, was lucky to get through on the inside in the stretch aud, finishing fast, just missed wearing down the winner. DANBAUM took the lead, showed the most speed and set a good pace to the stretch before tiring. WILL BANK saved much ground on the inside and ran a good race. ADMINISTRATOR showed early speed and tired. HARPOON quit. CTIICOLA was taken out of it after the start and raced far back. Scratched— 36839 Chris. ARV, displaying his best form and hard hustled by his rider, raced away into a long lead, setting a fa t pace to the stretch, but tired and just lasted to hold SWEKISTAKES saTe. The latter raced in closest pursuit, held the others safe, throughout and was rapidly wearing down the winner. CLOVER CLUB, poorly ridden, was close up in the early stages and then taken hack entering the stretch, came fast on the outside and finished gamely under her own courage. THISTLE ANN began fast, raced away into a long lead entering the stretch, but began tiring and was seriously threatened by PRINCESS ISABEL, but when roused came again to win as her rider pleased. PRINCESS ISABEL improved her position slowly on the inside, gained much ground and held •n well to oustay RUTH LONG. The latter, a factor throughout, came wide entering the stretch and lost ground, but made a game finish. CRISTAR showed good speed to the stretch turn, but tired, LORETTA B. raced well. IIYPOI.UXO, close up under restraint the first three-quarters, came fast on the outside when called upon entering the stretch: moved past ULUNIU into the lead to win going away. ULUNIU set a fast pace in the lead to the stretch, but commenced tiring and was no match for the winner and only luckily outlasted THISTLE FYRN. The latter was outrun for the first six and a half furlongs, but gained in the final quarter and easily bested the others and almost wore down ULUNIU. ANGELENA bad no excuses. BTAMPDALE worked his way up gradually, gained rapidly when taken to the inside in the stretch and finished fast. HYPNOTISM raced well on the outside, took the lead from BRAYBANT, but tired in the stretch. ELOISE gained much ground in the final quarter. BRAYBANT showed early speed, but quit. FULL SPEED, much improved and a contender from the start, moved np fast entering the stretch, took the lead from MISS ROSEDALE and easily held LUCKY DRIFT safe. The latter showed speed for the entire race, saved much ground and, holding on well in the final drive, outfinished FLYING TORCH. The latter also saved much ground, then came wide in the stretch, but easeily bested MISS BOSEDALE. which showed the most early speed, and raced into a long lead, but tired after three-quarters. The others were always outrun. Scratched— 36908Polar Sea. 110. Overweight— Lucky Drift. 2 pounds.
