BUY LEXINGTON PROPERTY Kentucky Sales Company Takes Title to Buildings in Lexington Known as Tattersalls. LEXINGTON, Ky.. June 10.— The Kentucky Sales Company, through Shelby T. Harbison, its president, today concluded the purchase from the Central District Warehousing Corporation of the property on South Broadway known as "Tattersalls," embracing a large sales stable and other buildings and some four acres of land. Mr. Harbison has been the lessor of the property for many years, and the Kentucky-Sales Company, since 1904, has held there sales of thoroughbreds, trotters and saddle horses. Messrs. William J. Treacy and Ken Walker, comprising the racing firm of Treacy and Walker, are associated with Mr. Harbison in the Kentucky Sales Company, and George A. Bain is the organizations auctioneer. Mr. Treacy this afternoon stated that it is Intended to remodel the large stable and to build near it a large sales pavilion, in which thoroughbreds will be sold. The company also announces that its next sale will be of thoroughbred yearlings, to be held in September, during the Kentucky Association race meeting. Ken Walker, secretary of the company, is at Grand Rapids, Mich., recovering from an operation performed several weeks ago. •
