Star Fillies in Illinois Oaks The third running of the Illinois Oaks will feature todays program at Washington Park. Among the prospective starters are Rose ot Sharon, Lady Broadcast and Current, a trio of fillies of such high quality as to assure a contest well worth traveling a long distance to witness. Rose of Sharon, pride of Johnson N. Camden, is the favorite for the Illinois Oaks. Current and Lady Broadcast, it is expected, will be arguing all the way with this over-sized and amazingly muscled filly. Sh. has won the Ashland and Kentucky Oaks, but Lady Broadcast and Current fought to a finish before they surrendered. The carded field for the 0,000 added Illinois Oaks, for three-year-old fillies, at one mile and an eighth, follows: PP. Horse. Wt Rider. Owner. Trainer. 1— Altitude 119 G.
