The first "future book" on the Kentucky Derby was that issued by Mike Kearney of St. Louis, Mo., the first from the East by Tom ShaAV, the Avell knoAvn NeAV York club house commissioner. The St. Louis book has no pronounced faAorite, Gallant Fox, Desert Light, Dedicate, Flying Heels and High Foot being each quoted at 10 to 1. Tom ShaAV makes Gallant Fox faAorite at 8 to 1.
