HAGERSTOWN IMPROVEMENTS BOWIE, Md., April 1. Edward Brennan and Mortimer Mahoney returned from Hagers-town, Md., where they spent several days arranging for improvements to be made to that plant. New stables, a new judges stand and the remodeling of the mutuel plant will be completed before the opening of the five-day meeting which is scheduled to begin May 27. Dates for the fall meeting have been set from September 16 to 20. There will be accommodations for 394 horses. In the mutuel plant there will be ten wickets for cashiers and ten for sellers.
