WILL RACE NEW STRING LEXINGTON; Ky., April 1C John Pons, who raced several horses here last spring, will have the veteran Nevermore, Scotland, Chatter Black and Kincsen to carry his colors during the meeting. He acquired Scotland, Chatter Black and Kincsen from M. N. Porter some weeks ago. Pons has arranged to ship from here to Louisville for the Churchill Downs season. John Knapp, sixteen-year-old native of Windsor, is in his employ and may make his debut as a rider at Churchill Downs. Pons regards the youngster as one of the best prospects to come up in some time.
