SLOAN GETS LICENSE LEXINGTON, Ky., April 19. Upon recommendation of the committee of horsemen authorized to pass upon the capabilities of applicants for trainers licenses under the state racing commission, Charles Sloan was licensed by stewards Bradley and Graddy yesterday. Sloan was among three applicants who failed to pass the board of horsemen a week ago. The stewards also licensed jockey Frank Barnett, whose application was I held up, pending such time when he could be interviewed by members of the license committee.
