GREENTREE STABLE LEADER I ♦ Heads Money Winning Owners List for Jamaica Meeting. » Twenty Grand Tops Horses Through Victory in Wood Memorial Stakes — Frank Taylor Leading Trainer. ♦ The Metropolitan Jockey Club, operating the Jamaica course, distributed 26,508 during its recent twenty-three day meeting, from April 18 to May 14, an average of ,848.17 daily. One hundred thirty-eight races were decided during the meeting, eighteen of them stake races. The Greentree Stable and the Rancocas Stable staged a close fight for money winning honors, with the former establishment finishing the meeting more than ,000 ahead of the Jobstown outfit. The Green-tree Stable won 2,700, and the Rancocas Stable 0,815. M. L. Schwartz was third among the owners, with a total of 1,825. Twenty Grand, winner of the Wood Memorial Stakes, was the leading money winning horse with earnings of 0,200. Universe was second, with ,550, and Mokatam third, with ,700. Another Greentree horse, Surf Board, was fourth with ,400. Five jockeys tied for the riding honors with seven winners each: M. Garner, C. Kurtsinger, J. C. Meek, F. Munden and P. Remillrrd. F. M.
