CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES LOUISVILLE. Ky., May 20. A late change in plans, caused by the m illness of trainer Tom Sanford, sends the Brown Hotel Stable horses to Latonia from Churchill Downs instead of to Washington Park. R. P. Brooks will rest up the three horses he has for Mrs. R. P. Brooks during the intervening period between the close of the Churchill Downs and Latonia meeting. Brooks plans to ship to Latonia shortly before the opening of that meeting. The Three Ds Stock Farms Sir Melton injured himself while in the paddock, and was excused from the first race.
