VONAIR TO WASHINGTON PARK LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 27.— Vonair, yet to face the barrier, will carry the colors of E. H. Von Roenn in the Thomas Curran Memorial Stakes for two-year-olds at Washington Park unless the son of Wildair and Pageant goes amiss between now and then. Owner E. H. Von Roenn decided after the colt worked five furlongs this morning over the Douglas Park track in 1:02% that he showed enough for his acceptance for hla Thomas Curran Stakes engagement. "I intend to send the colt to Chicago and will ship him back to Latonia for the Cincinnati Trophy. He showed me enough to warrant a try for the Chicago stake," stated owneS Von Roenn. The three others that Vol! Roenn has at Douglas Park will remain herq until a week before the opening at Latonia. Von Roenn has refused several large others for Vonair, which is a half-brother iA Color Sergeant.
