KIANG. jumping boldly and kept close up, took the lead after the sixth fence, but was not hurried •when LIBERTIN roassumed command and. responding readily going to the twelfth jump, drew clear, but was forced to a hard drive on the flat after the last fence to withstand LIBERTIN. The latter took a cood lead early, reliquished command momentarily after the sixth jump, but gained the lead at the seventh, only to drop back after the twelfth obstacle and, but for interference at the last fence, might have been closet up. FROTH BLOWER, saved behind the pace for three-quarters, moved up on the outside on the far turn and, continuing fast, wore down BRONZE in the final drive. The latter took the lead on the far turn, saved cround and held on well in the final drive. OIL RITE challenged approaching the stretch, swerved to the inside, then tired in the last eisrhth. STORM worked his way up on the outside and foucht it out willinely. BOYS HOWDY came through on the inside entering the stretch and closed fast.
