WOODBINE PARK NOTES I . £ TORONTO, Ont., May 27. Louis Angevine, general manager of the Montreal Jockey Club, arrived from Montreal to proceed with his missionary work in regard to the stake offerings for the forthcoming session at Blue Bonnets. Mr. Angevine is very optimistic regarding the Montreal Jockey Club meeting that follows Connaught Park. Jockey A. Pascuma made a hurried departure from Belmont Park to ride Frisius in the King Edward Gold Cup Handicap for the Belair Stud Stable. Pascuma will remain over to handle Faireno in the Victoria Stakes on Thursday before reporting back to Fitzsimmons. E. D. Springer has nominated his good juveline Howee for the Kindergarten Stakes that will be decided at the first meeting at Blue Bonnets. Howee shapes up as one of the best juveniles seen in action since the racing season started. The colt will be shipped direct to the Montreal Jockey Club course at the conclusion of the Woodbine meeting. W. J. Norton, who handles the Eastland Farm racers, has decided to remain for th Long Branch meeting. When he leaves for New York his assistant, Joe Brunner, will have charge of the string. H. G. Woods was an arrival from Hagers-town with his string of racers. C. J. Meister, who operates one of the largest race horse van services between tracks in Maryland and also in the New York district, journeyed from his home in Baltimore to witness the remainder of the racing at Woodbine Park. Mr. Meister was accompanied by C. Willing Brown, who has several racers here in charge of J. Bosley, Jr. J. McGraw and J. Hawkins, who recently campaigned at Bainbridge Park, arrived from that course with their racers.
