NEW YORK TURF NOTES NEW YORK, N. Y.. June 1. Woods Garth has been nursing a badly bruised foot the past few days. He was stepped on by a horse in his stable. The injury, while not serious, is a painful one. Trainer Buxton stated that Grey Coat came out of his race in the Toronto Cup in a bad way. The horse showed a dlsike for the mud and injured himself about the legs. Jockey A. Robertson, who has been riding in Canada, returned to Belmont Park and reported to trainer Healey of the C. V. Whitney Stab:e.
