TWENTY-NINE IN DERBY Special Cablegram. LONDON, England. June 1.— The probable field in the Epsom Derby Wednesday was reduced today to twenty-nine starters by the withdrawal of two nominees. Sir Charles Pulleys Sarmelus strained a tendon in an exercise gallop, while Sir Charles Hyde decided to decline the issue with Spanish Main. No reason was given for withdrawing this colt.
