t BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES f $ . e NEW YORK, N. Y., June 1. T. J. Pendergast, Kansas City breeder and owner of Penthorne Stable, arrived for a brief visit preparatory to his annual European tour. Jockeys F. Catrone and A. Pascuma, who rode at the recent Woodbine meeting, were arrivals from Toronto to report back to their employers. J. H. Louchheims Grey Coat, which was shipped to Toronto to fulfill his engagement in the Toronto Cup, was returned to Aqueduct. The divisions of the C. V. Whitney Stable and Belair Stud which were racing at Toronto were returned to Belmont Park and Aqueduct respectively. Jockey E. Kummer may leave for Canada. He has received an attractive offer from a stable racing over the Canadian circuits. Trainer Joyner stated that Jamestown might be seen under colors in one race before the running of the Belmont.
