RAIN HELPS LATONIA TRACK LATONIA. Ivy., June 1.— A heavy rain which fell Saturday night and until noon Sunday, proved to be of great benefit to the Latonia track and grounds, and, consequently, the large number of visitors that were at the course Sunday afternoon found a scene worthy to behold. The downpour, the first in ten days and following the torrid weather, aided the track, which was becoming slightly too hard and also enabled several of the trainers to try their charges over the muddy going which prevailed this morning.
