GOLDEN PATCH, hard hustled from the start, drew up on almost equal terms with the winner, but tired. LADY CHILTON tired after being a factor. LONDON ROCK raced evenly. HOWEE, under restraint for three eighths, was shaken up entering the stretch and, responding to punishment, just lasted. MY PURCHASE, a factor from the start, came through on the inside and was wearing down the winner. TOPIC A. lost ground on the stretch turn and was tiring fast at the end. DESERVE was unable to menace the leaders. SIWANOY propped at the start and was far back early, but settled into his best stride and finished gamely. SATANS PET had no excuses.
