Y., June 3.— Ralph Parrs Her Grace, which was thrown down in the Metropolitan Handicap, is coming up to the Suburban in fine fashion, and she may be considered a sure starter Saturday. In well at 109 pounds, this filly has an abundance of class, and may give the top weights something to worry about. Yesterday morning at Aqueduct this good filly went along for a handy mile and a quarter, the Suburban distance, in 2:12, and it was ample to prove her readiness for the big question. Gallant Knight was out at Belmont Park, and he was only sent along for a half mile in :49%. He will probably have his final workout for the race this morning, but he came out of the West fit and ready, and this half mile was sufficient to indicate that he had suffered no ill effects from the trip. James Butlers Questionnaire, which was shipped back to his home track, Empire City, after his victory in the Metropolitan Handicap, worked a mile in 1:40% over that track. Awake, a stablemate, was sen. along with the son of Sting as a work horse. The fractions of Questionnaires mile were as follows: 23%, :48. 1:01%, 1:14, 1:26%, 1:40%. The outlook at this time is for a field possibly of eight, which will start in the rich stake Saturday. Mokatam, which worked a mile and a quarter in 2:07 be- tween the races Tuesday afternoon, is a certain starter, as is Ral Parrs filly, Her Grace, which carries 109 pounds. W. R. Coes three-year-old, Polydorus, had his final workout for the race over the main track this morning. He covered the Suburban distance in 2:08%, working from the barrier. The fractions were :48, 1:13% 1:39%, 1:53%, while Curate had his train- ing in the Maturity.
