j I L [ I » I 1 1 1 1 INSCOS DERBY WORKOUT HOMEWOOD, 111., June 3.— Insco, Griffin Watkins good son of Sir Gallahad III., among the most successful of the western two-year-olds last year, is coming up to his engagement in the 0,000 added American Derby, to be run at Washington Park, on June 20, in superb condition. Trainer B. J. Durnell exhibited the crack colt at his finest when he worked three-quarters in 1:13%, handily, and galloped an additional eighth in 1:29%. He ran the quarter in .24; three- eighths in :36, half mile in :48% and the five-eighths in 1:01. It marked not only the fastest three-quarters trial over the Home- wood track this season, but also one of the most impressive and the best by an Ameri- can Derby candidate.
