UVIRA sprinted into a commanding lead soon after the start, was taken into the firmer footing and was never threatened. PATRICIA AGNES worked her way up steadily on the outside, made a wide turn into the stretch, but closed steadily. LADY CHILTON forced a good early pace and held on well. AGNES SOREL, away slowly, closed with a belated rush. GOLDEN PATCH dropped back on the turn and was held safe thereafter. MISS TEDDY tired. MY PURCHASE, hard ridden to take the lead, was taken into the best footing in the stretch and held on well. WHITE BASKET, fractious at the barrier, began fast, raced close up, but tired in the final drive PROWESS passed tiring horses. SIWANOY quit.
