WASHINGTON PARK NOTES T 1 - ยง HOMEWOOD, 111., June 10. C. Jepsen of Palatine, 111., had the two-year-old Wigsfla, son of Wingstone and Girofla, and the older Jacaranda, which he purchased this spring, at Lincoln Fields in charge of A. Miles. Copies of the third issue of conditions for the overnight events at Washington Park from June 12 to June 19, inclusive, were distributed today. H. Weis, with Jim Ormont, Take Off and Lady Emblem, arrived at Lincoln Fields from Danville. The horses are owned by M. J. Whalen. Thirteen horses, of which eight are juveniles owned by Admiral Cary T. Grayson, made up the stable M. Smart unloaded at Lincoln Fields from Benning several days ago. Breckinridge Long and Archibald Barklie are other patrons represented in the stable. The Grayson youngsters include the get of My Own, High Cloud, Scotch Broom, High Time, Bright Knight and Sunference, and are headed by Bonnie Brae, a full brother to Happy Scot. Francis Dunne received copies of the initial issue of conditions for the opening eight days of the second annual summer . meeting of the Agua Caliente Jockey Club from San Diego, and distributed a number of them. The booklets arrived a full week before Dunne expected them, and the early distribution should permit horsemen to estimate the type of program to be offered in time to determine plans for the summer , before the arrival next week of James N. Crofton, general manager of the coast track. From eight to a dozen carloads of horses may leave the Chicago district for the Agua Caliente meeting, which runs for fifty-seven days, concluding on Labor Day. Trainer Jack Middleton decided against working the Warm Stables Epithet during the regular work period at Lincoln Fields today and planned to work the son of Epi-nard later in the day or Thursday morning. Hyman, William E. Schmidts American Derby entry, was "opened up" three-eighths in :40% at Lincoln Fields today and will be indulged with more exacting work Thursday. Bosafabo and Conscience, two of the Madden Brothers three eligibles for the same fixture, breezed a mile in 1:52 each over the same track. Following the Washington Park meeting . starter Harry Morrissey will spend several weeks at his Kentucky Farm, while some of his assistants work with starter Roy Dicker-son at Arlington Park.
