j LEXINGTON TURF NOTES $ —4 LEXINGTON, Ky., June 10. Messrs. George Clark, owner of Masked Marvel II., a number of mares and several horses in training, and part owner of White Satin, and Samuel Taylor, editor of the Rider and Driver, returned to New York today after a visit to several of the stock farms here during the last three days. Stuart Polk has purchased Flashy Dora and Friars Choice from the Himyar Stud, and they have been shipped to him at Chicago, Moonlit and Friaress have been received at Shoshone Stud from New York. They are through racing, and are to enter the breeding paddocks next season. A. Pelleteri has bought Book End from the Himyar Stud, and she is to be shipped to Chicago in a day or two.
